Here's another photo from the Public Health Competition at NECO! Our group all agreed on wearing blue top and black pants! Though we didn't win but it was a good experience.

Ok! I am back! But I guess xanga is out of date now and myspace is in. I am just treating xanga somewhat as a diary.
I've been really busy with school/activities/work especially school.  I haven't really seen anyone since the summer ended.  My dad's class took 1/3 of my time and schoool took over the rest.  Been stressing out alot lately due to huge amount of work and confused about my life - of what I really want to do. Before, I always thought I have a goal for my life - finish optometry school and then helped my dad expand his career.  However, now I felt like switching to another career, perhaps teaching because it won't take away most of my time.  Practicing optometry will be 8am to 7 pm every week.  I won't be able to help out my dad's classes or work in the field that I really want which is doing martial arts.  I started to wonder if this is a good career considering timewise.  Although it is a good job financially and workwise, the amount of time I will put into it will conflict with my other beloved side career.  But again: I am just thinking about it and not making any decision yet.  I have to think more carefully.
Last year (senior year in college) was pretty active for me.  The 4 years of dorm life, parties, dances, shows, friends, staying up late, going out..freedom freedom! This year to me is pretty "quiet/calm" -- studying studying studying!!! Moving back home although is good in a way because I get to spend time with my family and in some ways taking care of them (cooking for them whenever I am free or talk or clean or playing with Kiwi..etc) but I don't get to go out as much first due to schoolwork and second it's because I always feel like my parents worry too much for me to go out.  I guess it's ok to me since I am now over that age of being rebellious.  I felt like my interests have changed.  Maybe it's because I am growing up? I used to like hanging out with lots of people; now I only like to meet up with one person and really talk/talk.  I used to be wild when it comes to parties; now I am not as wild.  I start to like cooking, especially for my family. I love to set up dinners with candles and wine/champagnes/alcohol fruit drinks...etc...I love decorating the house making it match.  Pretty curtains match the color of the walls.  I love pretty bedsheets/blankets.  I love making movies and sending them back to Vietnam to my relatives.  I love to choreograph dances and martial art skits.  I start to like sewing and making costumes.  I guess I've always wanted to be a woman who is good inside out: both at home and outside in the community.  Maybe that's the reason why I do martial arts but then do dances at the same time.  I start to dream about being a good mother -having kids and teaching them both in martial arts and school.  I start to dream about being the greatest wife at home after being the greatest daughter and community member.  After working and coming home, I will cook for the family - making the best meals everytime there is one.  Living a happy life!!! Omg! I think I am getting old thinking about all these things! AAAAH! I want to do so so many things from being the greatest daughter to the greatest wife to the greatest mother to the greatest martial art sister to the greatest employee/boss to the greatest friend to the greatest w/e I can be and will be!!!!
I dont know why I am saying all these things but I guess maybe it's cuz I hvaent' really been able to talk much at all both with friends and on xanga.  Today I've just finished one of my 5 midterms.  This is midterm week -so stressful.  Since New Year ended, I have'nt been able to practice martial art due to schoolwork.  I felt like I have jelly rolls now!!! ah! After midterm, I am planning to go somewhere for spring break with my best friend - maybe Florida for a few days or just somewhere nearby like New York overnight.  I need to ddi xa~ ho*i.  Anywayz it's time to get back to study!!!!! ah!
But again, I've always ended my entry with pictures!!! So here they are!!!

I. Christmas 2006

It was super fun.  My family laughed so much. WE had so many presents! I cooked and prepared the Christmas Eve dinner with wine/champagne. These are all the presents from me to my family as well as my dad's students to him.

Yesterday was moon festival celebration at  VietAid.  Fun day with lots of performances, lots of  cute little kids.  We did  the hat dance again for the tenth time hahah but made  changes here and there.   We also did the ribbon/fan dance with different color fans instead of just pink and white.  It was  pretty  colorful.  I had fun with my students both from  Vietnamese School Van Lang and Vo~ class.   It was  successful to me because  I think I've made a great day for them providing  Vietnamese traditional clothes that they 've never worn before - introducing them to Viet culture.  I had friends that helped me out too (Chau) but was super busy so couldn't take pics with her or with everyone.  My mom, bro and sisters couldn't come cuz they had to work - so it was just me and my dad.  Though it was fun, but on the other hand I lost time from studying.  Now i really had to catch up. Tests next week!!! Ah! Alritee, here are a few pics i've taken. Enjoy.
